What is your role at Durban Offshoring?
I am the Managing Director and Founder of Durban Offshoring, but my journey in business didn't start here. I am also a Chartered Accountant and Managing Partner of A4G Chartered Accountants. My commitment to helping business owners overcome challenges has resulted in 28 years of uninterrupted growth for our business.
One of the key factors behind A4G's success is my approach to offshoring. Over the past 20 years, I have strategically built an offshore team in the Philippines and India.
In 2021, I recognised the potential of Durban, South Africa, as a leading offshoring destination. With its skilled workforce, advantageous time zone, and absence of language barriers, Durban offers the perfect combination of talent and resources for businesses looking to overcome staffing challenges and achieve growth. I primarily focus on assisting UK business employers in identifying and securing favourable employment opportunities through our services. This includes tailoring deals that align with the specific needs of UK employers.

Outside of work, I prioritise spending time in nature and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I'm a firm believer that staying active not only keeps me in shape but also rejuvenates my mind. Whether it's going for a jog in the park or hitting the gym, I find solace in these activities.

As a recruitment consultant at DOL, my primary responsibility is to understand the needs and requirements of clients throughout the entire recruitment process. I aim to provide them with candidates of exceptional standards, ensuring a perfect fit for their organization.
The main problem I strive to solve for clients is finding the ideal candidate who not only meets their expectations but also aligns with their company culture. By carefully selecting and vetting candidates, I ensure that clients receive the best possible match for their requirements.
Where will we find out when you’re not working?
In my free time, I have taken up trail running as a hobby. While I may not be ready to run a marathon just yet, I find inspiration in the journey of starting and continuously challenging myself.
